Some of the most beautiful sunsets of my life happened in an RV by a lake. A few weeks of camping, and the sky lit up every single evening. I took photo after photo, mostly because I couldn’t believe it kept happening. This painting came from one of them.
What I wanted to hold onto was the feeling more than the view – that quiet gratitude of standing inside something beautiful with the people you love, knowing it’s a gift you didn’t earn.
The poppies are built in layers: ink washes first, then acrylic for depth, then oil to bring the light up from underneath. Scarlet and gold burn through the sky, and a band of deep teal and navy grounds the field so the color has something to glow against.
A small square with real presence. It holds a quiet corner, a bedside wall, a shelf, or a gallery wall where your eye keeps coming back to it.

Production & Shipping
When you purchase an original painting, I take care of every detail before it leaves my studio. Depending on the piece, that may include final varnishing for long-term protection, sourcing the right custom box for its size, and a thorough inspection before I pack it up. I want it to arrive exactly as it left my hands.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for your painting to ship. Once it's on its way, you'll receive a tracking number by email. I ship with full insurance coverage for the declared value of your piece.
Original paintings ship within the US. Local to Las Vegas? Studio pickup and local delivery are also available at checkout.
If Something Goes Wrong in Transit
It's rare, but if your painting arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the damage immediately and contact me within 48 hours. I'll handle the insurance claim and make it right - either a full refund or a replacement if the piece can be recreated.
Returns
If you bring your painting home and it's not the right fit, you have 14 days from delivery to return it. The work must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition it arrived. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. Once I receive and inspect the piece, I'll issue your refund within 5-7 business days.
Original paintings purchased on sale are final sale and cannot be returned.
