Beneath these blooms is a poem, collaged into the surface along with modeling paste before I picked up a brush. From there I worked entirely in oil – thin washes first, then thicker, fuller paint built up over many passes. The early layers don’t disappear; they stay visible, so the closer you look, the more depth and buried detail unfold. White and pink peonies open across a soft, atmospheric ground, with a bluebird and butterflies bringing quiet life into the stillness. At four feet square, it’s made to anchor a wall and reward both the long view and the close one.

Production & Shipping

When you purchase an original painting, I take care of every detail before it leaves my studio. Depending on the piece, that may include final varnishing for long-term protection, sourcing the right custom box for its size, and a thorough inspection before I pack it up. I want it to arrive exactly as it left my hands.

Please allow up to 2 weeks for your painting to ship. Once it's on its way, you'll receive a tracking number by email. I ship via FedEx or UPS with full insurance coverage for the declared value of your piece.

If Something Goes Wrong in Transit

It's rare, but if your painting arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and the damage immediately and contact me within 48 hours. I'll handle the insurance claim and make it right - either a full refund or a replacement if the piece can be recreated.

Returns

If you bring your painting home and it's not the right fit, you have 14 days from delivery to return it. The work must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition it arrived. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. Once I receive and inspect the piece, I'll issue your refund within 5-7 business days.

Original paintings purchased on sale are final sale and cannot be returned.
