HIMI Gouache Paint Set, 24 Colors x 30ml, Jelly Cup Design with 3 Paint Brushes and a Palette

I’ve been using this HIMI Gouache Paint Set for a few months now and wanted to share my thoughts! It’s a good way to test out gouache without breaking the bank. The 24 color set is a nice size, giving enough color variety while still keeping it at a lower price point.

The jelly cup design keeps everything neat in one place. It comes with a small mixing palette and 3 brushes of decent quality to get you started. I wish that the white color was bigger as it’s pretty common that artists use more white than other colors in gouache painting.

As I run out of paint I may purchase higher quality (like Holbein for example) in tubes, and refill the palette. I find having all the colors available in a palette very convenient, as I can start painting within seconds.

Usually I keep this palette on my desk, with a few brushes and a jar of water, which allows me to start painting almost instantly when inspiration strikes. I like painting while watching YouTube art content – there’s something so relaxing about this combination!
