If I could choose what heaven looks like, this would be it—walking through flower fields in the morning, breathing fresh mountain air, watching golden light paint the sky. There’s something about that ethereal glow that keeps pulling me back to the easel, trying to capture what words can’t quite hold.

I built this piece in layers, starting with vibrant ink washes that set the emotional foundation, then adding depth with acrylics before finishing with rich oils. Each layer brings the scene closer to that otherworldly feeling I was chasing—the kind of light that makes you pause and simply breathe.

She moves through wild poppies and delicate blooms, drawn forward by something just beyond view. Mountains fade into soft focus while the path glows with warmth.
